Lettuce returns to Red Rocks Amphitheatre this Friday, June 8th, for their annual Rage Rocks blowout, with The Floozies, The Funk Hunters, and Jaw Gems supporting. Known for their incendiary live shows, extensive touring, die-hard fans, and massive two-decade career, Lettuce brings forth a new vitality to classic funk music. Comprised of a stellar group musicians – Drummer Adam Deitch, guitarist Adam Smirnoff, bassist Erick “Jesus” Coomes, keyboardist and vocalist Nigel Hall, saxophonist Ryan Zoidis, and trumpet player Eric Bloom – the members of Lettuce are highly sought after musicians who, together, continue to earn their name as a can’t-miss live act and acclaimed masters of their craft. A beloved tradition by both bands and their fans, this will mark Lettuce’s fifth time playing at the venue, and The Floozies’ fourth time. As Lettuce Drummer Adam Deitch simply puts it, “Red Rocks is a magical place.” “It is super intense to play,” explains Lettuce saxophonist, Ryan Zoidis. “The crowd is like a wall in front of you. It really connects us with the fans on a deep energy level that fuels the music. We’ve had some of our best nights of music there since we started playing in that venue. That’s what keeps us coming back every year too.” Tickets are available at axs.com
