After a few weeks of warm, dry weather, Mother Nature slapped Colorado with a late Spring reality check by dumping a few inches of snow along the Front Range overnight and into this morning. The cooler temperatures required a deep dive back into the gear bin for long sleeves and layers, and mittens. Part of Gordini’s “Elevated Pulse” collection, designed for cool weather aerobic pursuits, the Stash Lite mittens offer light insulation for cool to cold days. My hands usually get cold fairly easily, but not so much when I’m running, so I can wear a bit lighter gloves on runs. I’ve been wearing Stash Lite mittens on winter and spring runs in a wide temperature range. They’re comfortable for me in everything from the mid 20s to mid 40s. They also double as my everyday winter mittens and pretty much live in my work backpack for when our Colorado weather inevitably turns.
