Sometimes I need a little extra motivation to get out the door for a run. Beer is a good motivation for me, so I make our local brewery tap room, 105 West Brewing, my run destination every now and again. I have a lot of options to increase the distance, including singletrack trails, but the most direct route to 105W for me makes for about a five mile run. Just enough to justify a mid-run pour of a nice, refreshing low-ABV Berliner Weiss, sour, or session IPA. I don’t like to look like I’m training for a marathon when I roll in to the tap room (or ever!). Here are a few of my favorite beer run essentials.

Headsweats Colorado Performance Trucker Hat

Headsweats Performance Trucker

The Headsweats Performance Trucker falls right into the sweet spot between tall trucker and dad hat. It wicks moisture, breaths better than a foam front trucker. It’s available in a bunch of colors and designs, but these Colorado themed versions are my favorite.

Native Eyewear Eldo Sunglasses

Native Eyewear Eldo Sunglasses

Oversized, blocky frames, sharp, polarized lenses (plus an extra low-light set), and grippy nose and temples have made the Eldo my go-to sunglasses for rides and runs this season.

Feetures! Elite Ultra Light No Show Tab Sock

Hands down, favorite running socks I own! Lightweight, no slip, tons of running-specific tech, and Merino Wool. If you prefer a little taller sock, go for their quarter length Ultra Light sock. More cushion? They have you covered there, too!
