I’m a “just in case” type of packer, and I’m not afraid to throw extra gear into a pack on any given ride or hike. Sunny and seventy, with not a cloud in sight? Should probably pack a jacket for this one hour ride. Yep. So in that spirit, the Silky Pocketboy 130 goes with me on all of my bigger mountain rides as well as early season rides, when deadfall is more prevalent along our local trails. You never know when a little trail maintenance might be required. It cuts through 4-6 limbs like butter. I use it around the yard to trim dead branches, etc. And of course it goes in my camp gear bin. The replaceable blade locks into place, with two positions, including a position that prevents your knuckles from scraping when cutting close to the ground. Bottom line, this is an essential for anyone who wanders into the woods.
