Over the past few weeks, the Smartloft 180 Parka has been in heavy rotation on my cold morning and evening outings. This jacket has taken me to and from the gym, running and walking the dogs, out to the Symphony, and just wearing it around the house because it feels like a cozy sweater.

I did wear a down jacket as well during this time and must say that after wearing my Smartloft jacket there was a huge difference. My down jacket felt sticky next to my skin during a short run with the dogs and the Smartloft kept me feeling dry and warm. The wool panels under the arms help with breathability and stretches comfortably with movement. The angled zipper at the neck provides warmth and a fashion element that I love. Technical features include DWR finish for water repellency, wind-resistant panels, and 50% recycled insulation.

There have been more than a few times when I get home and I just leave the jacket on because it is so comfortable.
