It’s no secret that I’m a fan of 3-finger “trigger” style mittens. With extra warmth compared to gloves and improved dexterity over mittens, it’s hard to beat these hybrid style winter hand covers?

Gordini’s Wrangell 3-Finger Mitten is nice. Like, really nice. Goatskin and Bison leather is soft to the touch and adds durability and comfort. I like the extra padding on the fingers and back of the hand, if for nothing else than the unique moto look. My first few days in these mittens were cold and windy with temperatures topping out in the low to mid teens. The beefy cuffs were easy to adjust, kept snow out, and tucked nicely under my jacket cuff.

I’m not the hardiest dude on the hill when it comes to getting cold hands, so I always err toward too much glove. Oftentimes that means bulky mittens on cold days. The Wrangell was plenty warm, without the bulk. My hands were warm and comfortable all day. I’d trust these mittens in all but the nastiest of conditions.

BOTTOM LINE
