When it comes to running and cycling socks, Swiftwick is hands down my favorite. Whether it’s helping me physically or not, I very much prefer that compression feeling around my ankles when I’m running. Swiftwick’s Aspire Four has been my go-to (nearly exclusive) warm weather running sock for the last year. The new Flite XT takes that concept to a new level. The Flite XT adds an inch on the cuff length over the Aspire (heck yes to crew length running socks!), along with a host of new tech that makes these socks even more enjoyable for both road and trail running. GripDry™ is a grip fiber that helps prevent your foot from slipping inside your shoe, and AnkleLock™ offers extra support around your ankles. You also get Flex Channels under the forefoot for better moisture control.
Cushion: Medium

Bottom Line
Don’t mess around when it comes to running socks. It’s going to be difficult to convince me there’s a better crew length running sock than Swiftwick’s Flite XT Five.
My Running Profile
Lunch runner. I like to get it done in one album’s time or less (recently, that’s been the latest Lowrider LP, Refractions), 2-3 times per week. Typically running in the lower eight minute mile range. 1-2 running events per year. Love a good 10k trail run.
