“If you took photos or video, you’re a dick.”
“Keep it a secret. Keep it safe. It’s our secret. Let them discover for themselves.”
These were the words I heard from Maynard James Keenan late in Puscifer’s set at Denver’s Bellco Theater last week. My first live Puscifer experience. So, even though I was there with a photo pass allowing me to photograph for the first two songs of their set, I’ve been torn about how to review this show and whether to publish the handful of photographs I was able to capture.
I’ll keep this short and sweet. I’ve never been more entertained at a concert. Intense. Heavy. Visual. Sensory overload. If you’re even remotely into theater, dance, live music (of any kind), or lucha libre, you really should experience a Puscifer show for yourself.
In a way, I’m hesitant to show these photos. They don’t tell anywhere near the whole story…
