United States 2019 national downhill mountain bike champion and Can’d Aid Treads + Trails Ambassador, Neko Mulally, announced today that he will continue his efforts to get more kids on bikes this year. Mulally is once again donating his 2019 World Championship bike to Can’d Aid in hopes of raising $50,000 for the Treads + Trails program through a raffle.

Every dollar from Neko’s bike raffle benefits Can’d Aid’s people powered do-goodery efforts through their Treads + Trails program. Through the program, volunteers have built and gifted more than 2,800 bicycles to underprivileged youth, restored miles of multi-use trails and worked to get people outside enjoying healthy and active lifestyles. Last year’s raffle raised $26,000 and Neko’s goal is to nearly double those numbers this year.
“I am proud of the success we had raffling off my World Champs bike last year, it was very cool to see it raise so much money and see the kids receive their bikes,” said Neko Mulally. “This year my goal is to raise $50,000 which would get 500 kids a bike and helmet. My Intense Factory Racing bike looks amazing and you’ll be buying thousands of tickets trying to win. Good races the next few weeks will help too!”
Entering the raffle not only gives you a chance to win Mulally’s World Championship custom bike, but also Fox Flexair custom jersey and pants, a Fox racing gear prize package, Afton shoe package and a Handup Gloves package.
“We’re so grateful to have Neko as one of our Treads + Trails Ambassadors and love his authentic passion for all things bikes,” said Diana Ralston, Can’d Aid’s Executive Director. “His genuine love of riding, and his gift for sharing that love with kids, is truly special. And having him on-site in Brevard, NC to pick this winners in November is really exciting.”
Raffle tickets are on sale now through November 15, 2019 at Candaid.org. Ticket packages start at $20 for 20 tickets and go up to $500 for 2,500 tickets, because we know you won’t want to stop there! Even if you don’t win a bike, hundreds of kids across the country will win thanks to your support. The winner will be chosen on November 15, 2019 at Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard, NC.
